Try Josephs on 8th Street, just north of the Post Office.
Had an unbelievably great meal, the Pepper Steak cooked tableside was very impressive.
Reasonably priced, great attitude from management and servers, in a wonderful intimate setting.
If only all dining experiences were this pleasant.........

I recently went to Yoo Mae for the first time and had an outstanding sushi-sake experience for a reasonable price.

The Santa Fe roll is out of this world.

We've also been trying our best to stimulate the restaurant economy. Enjoyed Salsa Brava for lunch the other day. Were told on the phone on July 3d that we could enjoy Slayton's on July 4th - when we showed up, they were closed - several other people were peering in the window . Shifted over to Phantom Canyon, hoping that the post-Larsen decline was over. It wasn't. Beer was great, food was just awful, barely edible (except, to be fair, for the Chef's salad). Pasta was overcooked to the point of being mushy, ribs were dried out and hard, soup was so salty we speculated the top had fallen off the salt shaker. Did I say the beer was great? Saigon Cafe was very good the other day, but unfortunately not very busy. Rotelli's is consistently satisfactory. So is Shangri-La. Adams is also always good. We enjoyed La Petite Maison one evening. Marigold's rack of lamb for two is still the best deal in Colorado.

Nosh is still a great meal. The food is wonderful. The service personable. We really like being able to order two or three small plates and a glass of wine to have a great meal.
